Whoooo is designowlie?

Hello, my name is Isabella, founder and creative director of designowlie. If you’re wondering how designowlie came to be, please read on.
Isabella, a.k.a. designowlie
PS: You might have guessed from the donuts, I am also very fond of sweets :)
Many moons ago, my childhood nickname was “Eule,” which is German for owl. I have always had a passion for design and crafting, and a dream of having my own business. Since then, I have worked many years in graphic arts & design. So eventually, this designing “Eule” evolved into my online shop, designowlie.com.
Sincerely,

Inspiration is all around, so if you like what you see today, visit us again soon. We plan on adding more categories of home + gift things in the near future.

We just love home + gift things with a timeless design sensibility, so you'll be sure to find many wonderful items that lean on classic patterns, styles and ideas that have stood the test of time. Combined with our love for all things Canadiana and a distinctly relaxed modern influence, it defines our style – original to designowlie.

Black + White
High contrast makes for a dramatic impression, and while it's one of our faves, it’s also a popular contemporary style choice.
By-the-Sea Series
Blue, green and coral tones that give vacation-by-the-sea feels, in styles that complement any coastal aesthetic.
Forever Fab
Leaning on forever-classic or traditional styles and ideas, with added owlie flair to create modern-day fabulousness.
Vintage Vibes
An atmosphere of olden-day charm, warmth and reminiscence, created by vintage-style patterns and colours.

Colours, shapes and textures in our everyday living or working spaces influence our sense of joy and contentment like nothing else. We design and create with this in mind.
Home + gift things, handmade.
Designowlie originals are handmade with a great deal of attention to design + quality, right here in Ontario, Canada.
We currently have 3 categories: cushion covers, textile gift baggies and wall art, with plans to expand in the future. Hopefully you’ll find a little something that speaks to you.
